Acerca del libro
Only this moment… is a photographic study of attention, coincidence, and the quiet relationships that emerge between images.
Presented as a sequence of colour diptychs, each pair of photographs is intended to be viewed together as a single work. Made across more than ten countries, the images bring together moments separated by geography and time—linked by colour, shape, gesture, mood, humour, or an unexpected visual echo.
Rather than explaining what the photographs mean, the book invites the viewer to slow down and discover the connection between them. Ordinary subjects—streets, landscapes, people, objects, shadows, signs, and passing details—become part of a larger visual conversation.
Only this moment… is a book about looking closely at what is already there, and about the small, fleeting connections that reveal themselves when we pay attention.

Acerca del creador
Mark Belliveau
Canada
Mark Belliveau is a Canadian photographer who has been making photographs for more than three decades, beginning with a Pentax K1000 he bought at sixteen. His approach to photography is personal documentary: minimalist, intuitive, and rooted in the belief that attention matters more than equipment. His photographic outlook has been shaped by the teaching of Freeman Patterson and by the work of photographers including Ralph Gibson and William Eggleston. He lives in the Canadian Maritimes, moving between Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, where he continues to photograph the ordinary world around him—one lens, one subject, at a time.
