We leave behind memories, tire tracks, and echoes. But sometimes, we just leave our shoes.Whenever I stumble upon a abandoned shoe on the pavement, I am captivated by the missing story. I’ve lived through plenty of wild situations, but I’ve never managed to walk out of my own footwear. Who did? And why?This photo series is an invitation to play the game. Look closely at these lost objects and imagine the chaotic, funny, or heartbreaking moments that left them stranded in plain sight.

I've been taking photos, mostly street photography and candids, since I was 15 because we would all take turns filming eachother skateboarding with point and shoots and our parents film cameras. I never stopped and I got into phonetography and even got a place in the Scarab Club Annual Exhibit with a cell-phone image, the only one in the exhibit around 2013. I decided to make books because I like making things, and thought that the series I've been working on needed to be seen in book format. Thank you.
