This book is a collection of nursery rhymes re-written by the Kindergarten class themselves, using their friends as the subjects and their own rhyming words. It is a celebration of a year-long journey that began with pre-literacy work done with rhymes and songs. Ms. Makela, our Wednesday music teacher, helped to reinforce this during the school year by allowing the children to make up their own rhymes, draw pictures of the stories, and act out certain nursery rhymes.
