Acerca del libro
Round and Round is a collaborative writing project of five poets. It began at the Scissortail Writing Festival in Ada, Oklahoma, in April 2024. Lyman Grant, Robert Wynne, Audell Shelburne, and Hank Jones, agreed to form an on-line writing circle. The plan: Lyman would begin with a poem, then Hank would follow with a poem, hopefully somehow triggered by Lyman’s poem. Robert would follow responding to Hank’s poem or maybe Lyman’s or both. Then Audell would add his poem. Lyman would enter again, not with a new topic or prompt, but with a poem somehow relating to one or more of the previous poems. At one point, Hank had to attend to his non-writing life and left the circle (though he still received all the emails), and the group asked W. Joe Hoppe to join in. Then, life attended to, Hank was able to rejoin. The poems in this cycle were written between April 8, 2024—November 1, 2025.
