Acerca del libro
Through vivid mixed-media illustrations and reflective narrative, Greaves bridges ancient truths with modern life, reminding readers that the people of the Bible were real men and women with fears, hopes, doubts, and dreams much like our own.
In one powerful entry, readers step into the turmoil of Peter on the night he denies Christ. Greaves paints the scene not just as history, but as a deeply human moment—Peter’s trembling hands, his conflicted heart, his crushing realization that love and fear collided within him. The devotional draws the reader into his internal struggle, helping them feel the weight of grace that follows.
In another reflection, the familiar story of the Woman at the Well is re-imagined as the Woman at the Coffee Shop, sitting alone with her cup, burdened by choices, labels, and loneliness. When Jesus sits across from her, the ancient encounter becomes startlingly present. Readers witness her transformation in a setting that mirrors the places where people today wrestle with identity, belonging, and the hope of being truly known.
The book also tenderly portrays Joseph as he holds the infant Jesus for the first time, feeling both the awe and the uncertainty of becoming the earthly father to the Son of God. Through Joseph’s eyes, readers experience humility, responsibility, and the quiet courage required to embrace a calling bigger than oneself.
Each entry pairs a detailed illustration with a devotion that reminds the reader we are all wonderfully made.

Acerca del creador
Josh Greaves is a Christian visual artist, former art teacher, and lifelong storyteller who never set out to become the author of a coffee table devotional book. For years, he believed his calling was primarily inside the classroom—teaching children and teenagers how to draw, to experiment, to express themselves, and to see the world through a creative lens. But God often works through quiet nudges, unexpected ideas, and small moments that lead us toward something larger. Josh’s devotional began exactly that way: not with an ambition to write a book, but with a simple desire to tell stories that would help people see the heart of Scripture in the everyday world around them. Josh looks to remind everyone that they are wonderfully made and God wants to use their story.
