Acerca del libro
The Great Ocean Walk is 104km long coastal walk in the Otway Ranges that starts at Apollo Bay and ends at the Twelve Apostles. It takes eight days to walk and is one of Victoria’s premier long distance walks.
Travis and Flynn Easton undertook this walk between the 8th and 15th of January 2024 and this book is the result. A number of side trips were also undertaken to waterfalls and one section was completed as a coastal traverse rather than the usual inland route.
The Great Ocean walk was officially opened in 2006 and cost $8.6 million to build.

Acerca del creador
Travis Easton

Australia’s rugged landscape is an important part of my life and over many years I have developed the necessary skills and stamina to explore some of the more remote parts of it on foot, ski, kayak and rope. I usually travel alone so I can take my time capturing the essence of these places without distraction. Life slows down and after a while I feel like I begin to merge with the land, nature takes me into her confidence and changes me. Preserving these areas is very close to my heart and if my pictures can instil an appreciation for these environments and their intrinsic worth then all the better.
