Havana, is a unique city frozen in time in the tropical heat of the Caribbean. A city full of contradictions.

Conjuring up images of romance, intrigue, duplicity and faded grandeur. Where Latin rhythms infuse the air and where the rich leathery aroma of expensive cigars mingles with the scent of sweet Gardenias.

The bustle, the noise, the colour....the sheer vibrancy of the place grabs your senses and refuses to let go.

It begs you to stay and imprints its memory in your soul enticing you to return.

This is a record of a 10 day journey in November 2009 to a city on the cusp of irrevocable change.
