Acerca del creador
Joel Allen retired after a nearly 40-year career as a journalist in television, radio, print and cyber media. He gained a reputation for telling visually compelling stories in the fields of politics, government, consumer affairs, industry and health care. Allen is the author of Ripoff and Run, a novel inspired by a true story he covered as a reporter in Northeast Iowa. He also wrote and produced a pair of award-winning documentary short films, Mr. Myrtle Beach and Oliver & Terry’s Amazing Time Machine. Allen and his wife, Deanna, enjoy traveling to new places in their motorhome and volunteering for community activities.
