This book is a Filipino photographer's extended photoessay of his home country. It is about looking back, at home, at youth, with daily life recorded during the project that started with one of his first successful color pictures (after learning photography in black and white). The format loosely mimics a common family album that’s filled with pictures of children born and growing up and of grown ups in their daily lives. A lot of the pictures were made in between the author’s news assignments for various news outlets he worked for since he embarked on his photojournalism career in 1997 to 2005 when he migrated to the US
