I went to Omaha Beach with Robert Capa in mind, because I had recently analyzed his D-Day pictures and responded to criticisms of them. I did not have a Contax camera, and the film he used has been discontinued, but I shot with the successor film and processed the rolls while I was in Normandy, at a small house I rented in Formigny.
