In Transition is a photographic meditation on flux—of identity, family, and adolescence. Through the use of light distortion and liminal landscapes, this collection explores transition as both a personal and generational experience. Water is used as a recurring motif to explore migration and diaspora, as well as the constant fluidity of gender. Drawing from the artist’s own family history, these images reflect the complexity of growing up in a first generation household.
