My name is Antonio Pumarejo and I am the author of the Scientismos book. The concept was not invented by me but was passed down to me one night in April 1998. I, like everyone else, was brought up to believe in what other humans taught me, in the case of my parents, they filled my brain with religious teachings, but I became increasingly suspicious as I was growing up. What I saw about the world made me doubt everything I was taught, especially after witnessing what the news was reporting or just watching what was happening to innocent people around me back home in Brooklyn, New York, where I grew up. But what made me more suspicious was how people would try to cover it up by claiming God works in mysterious ways, which was a red flag for me since I sensed there was a deeper explanation of what was really going on. But then one night, everything changed. Following that, I began to perceive people differently as I was introduced to a reality which the rest of us never learned about.
