Acerca del libro
Mirabilia is a new fine art photography zine exhibiting the "wondrous things" I have discovered in my life and travels.
Volume 3 celebrates Spring and the return of flowers! Discover the lively curlicues of a passionflower, the delicate gills of a wild mushroom, and an unearthly King Protea. A cluster of roses glow with their life force. A field of humble daisies transforms into a fairy landscape.
From the rainforests of Maui, to the desert scrub of the Grand Canyon, the flowers in this volume were selected for their unique beauty. Some were even discovered at home in central Florida.

Acerca del creador
Claudia Valcich
United States
I am an American photographer and digital artist known for my portrait, urban and travel photography. Born and raised in New Orleans, I was strongly influenced by its beguiling, anachronistic and dreamlike character. Shooting in both film and digital formats, my subjects include ruins, cemeteries, abandoned spaces, and overlooked objects. My images reveal my fascination with unique textures, shadows, and Catholic iconography. My work explores the ephemeral nature of dreams and the mysteries underlying our reality. In this age of endless distractions, I want my photography to reawaken the viewer’s sense of wonderment for the world around them.
