This is a catalogue for an exhibition with the same name at the Trout Museum of Art in Appleton, Wisconsin. There over 130 artworks by 84 artists from Northeast Wisconsin from 1940 to Present (2025). Annemarie Sawkins is the guest curator for this exhibition and she wrote the 25 page researched essay titled "A Creative Place: Northeastern Wisconsin and the Visual Arts" and the 84 individual artist texts. Includes a wide range of media and styles. Full color reproductions of each artists work. The exhibition dates are February 24 to May 18, 2025.

Green Bay, WI USA

Christine Style is an artist with a focus on prints and drawings. In December 2018, she retired after 31 years of teaching art and design at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Style has a BS in art from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a MFA in printmaking from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Style has become known for her large-scale relief woodcuts often printed using a steamroller; for organizing print exchange portfolios; for bringing students to Santa Reparata School of Art printmaking space in Florence, Italy; for her teaching of printmaking, artist books and boxes, and for her leadership in Wisconsin Visual Artists.
