This book represents the plan for UK's new high speed network as proposed by the author. Copies of this book have been sent to Lord Adonis (UK Transport Minister), Theresa Villiers(Conservative Transport Secretary) and Richard Branson of Virgin Trains for their views and considerations.

THIS PLAN FOR UK HIGH-SPEED RAIL WILL BE EXTREMELY CONTROVERSIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The opposition for HS2 is intense, maybe there would be less objections if my suggestions were adopted. What do you think??

I recommend that the total high speed franchise be given to VIRGIN who can fly the flag for Britain throughout Europe to the Russias.
I want to see this project be the PRIDE OF BRITAIN throughout the world which can then extend it's hi-tech tentacles right across Europe showing the flag.
