"a third wind" expands across almost a decade, from a 17 year old self to a 25-26 year old self. through heartbreak, depression, trauma, love, clarity and accepting it all. this is a raw love letter that began being written before she knew what love was. the collection contains 3 sections that tell a story of the cycles that we move back and forth through during our healing journeys: discernment, acceptance, and transcendence.

'discernment' vulnerably explores the lack thereof; a woman not realizing that there is another way to live, think, and exist. 'acceptance' chronicles the acknowledgement of her role in her own suffering as she loves herself through the painful process of unlearning. 'transcendence' is a safe space where the unhealthy patterns from the past are no longer a hinderance as she allows herself to experience the full range of her emotions.
