This is a book of poetry written in a fit of wild passion after *that one breath retreat*

What was born is this. A rebellion.

I spent two months almost violently writing poetry and creating images to tell a story, following a fictional character and paralleling that with the real story I endured over a period of years.

This book expresses what it means to GET OUT. To escape. To run away. To say no. And to turn against the drowning tide of religion, parents, structures, so-called friends, and dysfunctional family systems to follow that deep body knowing that each one of us is born with. Sometimes buried deep deep deeply within.

This book is an invitation.

To pick up that ancient thread woven into your very breathing being and begin to follow that deep ancient call to its end.
