Rebecca Elegant was born in Littleton, Colorado. She received a BA in English from Pitzer College and a master's degree in education from The University of Colorado. Poetry has been an integral part of Rebecca's life for over 30 years. She is a high school creative writing and English teacher living in Marin County with her husband, three children and her dog Louie.
