Falmouth Cornwall UK Tall ships race16th August 2023 .

I had the privilege to get a press pass for the great tall ships meet in Falmouth.

Tall ships from all over the World came to Falmouth for the event. On the 16th and 17th of August I recorded the parade and people on bord the ships.

The Tall Ships race, otherwise known as 'Magellan Elcano', is a historic international event steeped in tradition

Due to bad weather the race that should have started on Friday 18th August started at sea on the 19th. August.

The event is a training ground for young people, giving them great life experiences.

The five impressive Class A vessels taking part in the race are Cuauhtémoc, Georg Stage, Dar Młodzieży, Fryderyk Chopin and Capitán Miranda.

I gather that Dar Młodzieży Won this year's race.
