If we can say that the world of science is synonymous with truth and the world of art with that of fiction, I want to tread a middle ground that is unusual and seemingly beyond belief, yet also familiar.
I have adapted and created my own peculiar genus of entomopathogenic fungus with the hope that it inspires us to wonder not what imagination or motivation created them but simply, where such things can be found.

Tosca has been working with metal for over 25 years. Introduced to glass blowing and flameworking in the late 80’s she was reacquainted with glass blowing, and flameworking in 2003, and recently to glass casting while working at Urban Glass, Brooklyn. Her work has been exhibited throughout Canada and the United States. A featured artist on Culture Canada her installations in Toronto include: Harbourfront Centre, The Design Exchange, new gallery, Weewerk, & Digifest 03, 04, & 05. Currently a resident artist at the Ontario Science Centre.
