Not only do "Come fly with George" pages provide current (June 2022) photographs of Collingwood, author-photographer George Czerny-Holownia also provides photographs which show bird's-eye views of parts of the Town of the Blue Mountains; in particular focusing on parts of the popular Blue Mountains Resort.

Collingwood's main industry was once shipbuilding, but the shipyards closed in 1986.
