I have for many years, understood that each experience is important in shaping who I am becoming. There were reasons for the time I spent working in retail, for the federal government, for a high tech business, as an office manager: at each step I was growing. More recently I made a shift, studying and working for a year and a half in a program of clinical pastoral education. Today I am living into the most important time of my life - I have learned (and continue to learn) about myself, to understand what's really important in life, and am risking in ways I never would have years ago. The blessing is that I am free to be me - whatever and whoever that is. My life is turning out to be very, very good!
