Acerca del libro
This book was created from the 2007 Live Journal blog I kept as my wife and I drove Route 66 in our 1966 Barracuda to celebrate our 66th birthdays.
It includes 167 photos from the ten days on Route 66 and the travel days getting to Chicago and returning home from Santa Monica.
Our daughter helped keep us "on task" and wouldn't let us back out of the trip once we had set our goal. We invited her to arrange her schedule so that she could fly to meet us at Tulsa and continue with us as far as Flagstaff.
The fires that year east of El Cajon Pass almost block our travel south from Barstow to San Bernardino, but the road was open again by the time we left Barstow.
