This book about the Leszczynski and Kichler families in Chicago (with roots in Prussian-occupied Poland) attempts to show the results of research and DNA matches that begin to reveal the truth "behind the curtain." It is not an entirely pretty picture, but it is closer to the truth that those family stories that we might have overheard as children.
