Acerca del creador
Travis Parsons, an artist from Grand Bank, Newfoundland, draws inspiration from his historic hometown. Growing up, he explored the rugged coastline and absorbed local stories, which now infuse his vibrant and textured work. While studying cultural geography, history, and sociology at Memorial University, he honed his photography skills in St. John’s before establishing his career back home in Grand Bank. Initially renowned for wedding and portrait photography, he later transitioned to commercial and landscape photography, with a focus on cultural landscapes. His acclaimed work has appeared in publications like Popular Photography, The Independent, and Downhome Magazine. Provincially recognized as a mentor and entrepreneur, Parsons has worked with clients such as Legendary Coasts, Staples, Atlantic Towing, Canadian Tire, CBC, HGTV, and the Government of Canada.
