The project sat for five years until the author went back on the same day to do the same thing. This time the focus was on how the "Backpacker Area" and Vietnam was transitioning into a modern economy.
Still five years later the book was not finished, so the author once again sat in the same chair. By this time, Vietnam had transitioned into the globalized economy and the the area was nearly unrecognizable - except where it wasn't.
