‘Class of 2021’, brings together a number of personal accounts of young adults whose university education has been dramatically transformed as a result of the pandemic. Now in their final year of study, each of the participants were mid-way through their degrees when the virus unleashed it’s devastating effects in early 2020. Through a combination of constructed portraits (made in collaboration with the sitters) and personal testimonies, the work reveals the thoughts, emotions and experiences that unfolded during the lockdown period and the long, restrictive months that followed.
