In 1934, EJ Wilson (owner and editor of the Birtle Eye-Witness) decided to write an account of the early years of the Birdtail Settlement and published this account in a series of installments in the Eye-Witness. Republished in 1967 as a pamphlet. This is a 2020 republication.
