Acerca del libro
Busy streets and avenues, street-lights and pedestrians, taxicabs and speeding cars; a clutter of detail to the point of distraction. Yet amidst the disorder is a symbiosis between animate and inanimate. There is a breath of life on every corner, on every alley; it’s as if the city has a heart beat.
This is where I attempt to capture the unique and dramatic moments of life. Moments during which random people in New York City are not much more than engaged in everyday tasks. Yes, it is everyday life and that’s exactly what the illustrations encapsulate, but the goal is to stop and question the particular moments. New York City is filled with diverse cultures, and when combined together those cultures form a great contrast which allows street photography to breathe.
