Jean Quill has spent her life fantasizing about superheroes and magic, but she never dreamed that the Nine Realms of Norse mythology were real - or that incredible powers (and prejudice) were in the family. All of that's true, as it turns out, and Jean's world is thrown out of orbit when her dad is kidnapped. Now she's caught between the shadowy forces that took him, a (mostly) secret rebellion of runaway kids like her, and the wrath of Asgard. If she even hopes to save everyone, Jean will have to call on truth, not judgment, to fix everything. Because if she can't, then things are going to change - and not for the better.
