Due to the Coronavirus pandemic nationwide social shutdown during the Spring 2020 semester, the BFA Photography program candidates at the University of the Arts were unable to present their thesis exhibition in a physical form. This book is a collection of selected work from individual thesis projects. Over the past year, these 17 students have demonstrated a commitment to developing thoughtful, provocative, and accomplished work. The projects are diverse, comprehensive and range in approach to the photographic medium while maintaining the highest standards of the craft. The senior class of 2020 Kirsten Albert, Kristopher Arnold, Germán Ayala Vazquez, Nicholas Cattie, Megan Chapman, Kelli Creutzinger, Karli Kasprzak, Mario Dante Napoli, Omakshi Pandey, Jules Pilkus, Aubrey Richey, Joe Sabol, Ludia Sim, Jamie Stow, Rebecca Torres, Sarah Troost and Kara Elisabeth Wilson all reveal their individual interests and perspectives on various subjects as seen through the photographic lens.
