This photo book was created as a cathartic release. This book is A photo book about some one suffering with dementia. I used to care for people suffering from dementia and it had a large effect on me, this drove me to create a book around a person I was particularly close to and her life. Representing such a delicate subject it was important for me to get it right. I decide on not using people and just using objects and staged photography to tell the story. I used important objects such as ones that brought back memory’s for the person. This book was about me understanding memory triggers and to look at life through the perspective of some one with memory issues as well as reflecting back on my time as a carer.
