Simon Glinski hails from Albury/Wodonga. He has degrees in Economics/Law from Monash University and a post graduate diploma in Legal Practice from Australian National University. He is admitted to the rolls of the High Court of Australia and has worked variously as a labourer, call centre consultant, a market analyst and a lawyer. He enjoys chess, pottery, drawing, painting, writing poetry and music, and reading and listening to the same. He auditioned once for the Australian Ballet School. In a previous life he was very involved in Labor politics but left the ALP at the time he became mentally ill. He now receives the Disability Support Pension.
His publications include an anthology of poetry titled Simon's Muse, a literary journal titled Vespers at Midnight containing prose, essays, short stories and poetry as well as a book of visual art titled These Motifs of Mine. His companion, Socks the cat, is the inspiration for his logo.
