Gambling has been with us since the beginnings of recorded history, dating all the way back to the tombs of King Tutankhamen of ancient Egypt. It's been associated with many distinct cultures and societies, from the gambling of Rome to that of ancient Greece and Egypt, and has taken many forms throughout the board. Today, gambling is legal in most countries, with some, like the UK, recognizing a form of gambling referred to as game betting. Although the expression gambling is used to describe a range of different things, the origin of this remains largely unknown.
