I'm an artist, first and foremost. I began mainly in pastels and fine silver jewelry for many years. After a life altering event, I now work predominantly in photography. I have a passion for animals! In the recent decade+, I have had the incredible opportunity to photograph wildlife in some of their incredible natural environments.

I live (mostly) in Panama with my partner, 4 Labrador retrievers, 1 GWP, a rescue horse and adopted cat (it adopted us), many chickens, and a plethora of hummingbirds and other native wildlife. I love photographing dogs and other pets too in a natural outdoor setting.

My hope is to help others find what inspires them. I hope to do so in some way through my photography - - there are so many incredible places and species on our planet and I have been fortunate to see and experience many of these amazing beings first hand. My hope is that my images will also inspire others to care for these animals and the environments in which they all live and co-exist.

I have a B.A. in Fine Arts and an M.A. in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology with honors in Art Therapy.

I have expertise in printmaking, jewelry design and drawing as well as working with at risk children and adolescents and training dogs for competitive obedience, agility and therapy work with special populations. I have traveled extensively and have a long history with 35mm film and digital photography.
