After a career working with refugees in the UK , and worldwide with the UN Refugee Agency, I took up photography when I took early retirement and wanted something totally different to turn my mind to. I’ve come to the conclusion that at heart I’m a nomad who enjoys wandering – how fortunate I don’t have to do it on a camel or live in a tent. Photography for me includes the enjoyment of the photography of others and a fascination with early photography, which in turn has led me to an enjoyment of art more generally.
