Born in Jaén, Andalusia, in 1971, I live and work in Miravet, Catalonia. A self-taught photographer, I discovered photography at eighteen, inspired by my early interest in drawing and painting.

Since 2008, my work has focused on the male nude, exploring classical ideals of beauty, harmony, balance and proportion, as well as the relationship between physical form and symbolic meaning.

Light and shadow are central to my work, particularly through chiaroscuro and its links to Baroque masters such as Ribera, Velázquez and Caravaggio.

My practice combines academic studies with conceptual explorations influenced by twentieth-century avant-garde movements, especially Futurism and its representation of movement and time.

My series *Academics* and *Anima Obscura*, alongside my work on sculpture and landscape, reflect my ongoing exploration of beauty, perception and photographic expression. My work has featured in exhibitions and art competitions.
