Kat’s mother encouraged her writing from an early age so naturally she decided to become a photographer. A decade of living, and nearly dying, brought her to cooking. Healthy cooking to be exact. Finally giving her an excuse to flex her writing chops and pork chops at the same time as using her photography training seemed to be the perfect blend. Not to mention having the distinct advantage of models you could eat if they got unruly.

Kat has been blogging as “fat girl skinny” & now “kiss my dish” since 2008, bringing her own brew of health and humour to the world wide web, but now you can take her home to Mom. Or Dad. Or even your boss at work. Anyone for whom food is serious but life is not.
