A native New Yorker, Jeff Ligonde was born and raised in Queens and uses his artwork to explore motion, symmetry and light. The fast-paced, high-pressure nature of New York City has inspired Ligonde to find creative ways to show the movement of dense cities through still photography. Ligonde refers to this style as playing “freeze-tag,” capturing excitement and intensity with his subjects through his visual artwork
