I am a personal chef based in Southern California and the author of Sticky Rice Hands. My work is shaped by both my culinary background and my experience growing up in the United States within a Lao immigrant family. Through storytelling rooted in memory, culture, and food, I explore themes of identity, assimilation, and heritage within the Lao diaspora. My writing reflects the same intention I bring to my cooking: honoring tradition while sharing something deeply personal and meaningful.
