Was born in Cumberland, Maryland; and grew up in nearby Oldtown. He is a former CSX engineer between Cumberland-Connellsville-New Castle, PA, and Amtrak Engineer on the Capitol Limited/Floridian between Washington, DC-Cumberland, MD, retiring in June 2025. He and his wife Candice, live in Severn, MD.
