Chandler Allyse Dent is a South Carolina–born cook, storyteller, and food lover whose recipes are deeply tied to the people and places that shaped her. The youngest of three brothers, she grew up around busy family dinners, church suppers, and the belief that food always brings people together.

Her cooking has been shared everywhere from supper clubs in Charleston to her coworkers’ breakrooms, family holidays, and neighborhood potlucks. Known for her creativity, humor, and love of making meals feel like an event, Chandler created Grupa Cooks to celebrate the joy of gathering, the comfort of tradition, and the connections that happen around the table.

When she’s not in the kitchen, you can usually find her spending time with family, walking her golden retriever Layla, or seeking out her next great meal.
