Hello, I am Thalita, nice to meet you!

I was born in 1982 and, as my family likes to put it, started drawing as soon as I could grab a pencil. I am a “carioca” from Rio de Janeiro but now me, my husband and our two joyful puddle-jumper daughters call Vancouver BC our beloved home.

I attended the Escola de Artes Visuais Parque Lage (EAV-RJ) and the University of Fine Arts (EBA – UFRJ), than changed my focus to children’s illustration when I was sure that is my eternal passion. I have been loving it ever since.

A few years ago I also fell in love with doll making, an activity that allows me to bring everything I love into one project: I draw, design, play with babies and sew!

Creating is definetely my happy place!
