“Marty”, a resident of The Admiral at the Lake in Chicago. Marty is Professor
Emerita of Northwestern University. Before retiring, she was Director
of the Neurobiology Program at Lurie Children’s Memorial Research
Center and managed a research program focused on developing new
gene therapies for Parkinson’s disease. She now spends most of her
time on photography and traveling. She has enjoyed photography in
over 86 countries and all 7 continents. She has exhibited her
photography locally and nationally in Lubbock TX, Chicago, IL,
Evanston IL, Moline, GE and Santa Fe, NM. and has received
numerous awards for her photos. She is self-taught, having begun
photography at the age of 10
