Born in New England, descendant of a host of fearless immigrants - two Mayflower pilgrims, a British sea captain (1600s), Swedish weavers and inventors (1800s), French Breton and Acadian expulsion victims (1700s), Irish dairy farmers and Irish famine refugees (1800s).
I am a UCONN grad (1980,cum laude) and hold a Biotech degree from a Texas college, summa cum laude. Proud of my old school penmanship (no computer or AI when I was a kid!) and my 21st century genetics lab skills training.
I now love living in the misty, mossy, watery, moody magnificence of the Pacific Northwest.
My debut self-published historical novella, Pandora's Choice - The Oracle Must Be Obeyed, has been chosen as the Prizewinner in the Y.A category by Eyelands International Book Awards 2025.
