Artist, photographer, globetrotter, that's me.
I was born in 1982 in Moscow. My parents were Cuban students. I spent the first two years of my existence at the Lomonosov Moscow State University, before moving to Cuba with my mother. From a young age, science, philosophy, politics, foreign languages and cultures influenced my life. At the age of 10, my mother signed me up for drawing, painting and flamenco classes. I still became a scientist like my parents, although I never lost interest in art. In 2007 I moved to Germany where discovered photography by accident in 2009, after years working as a project manager, I began taking courses at the School of Photography of Cologne. Photography became an instrument of expressing the distance, the absence, the nostalgia of my culture and my people. I developed a fascination for photojournalism and family portraits. I settled with my husband in 2018 in the south of France where I dedicate myself entirely to photography.
