I love to invent! This is my first book where I share stories about learning how things work in the world...starting at age two. Written in prose, it is easy to read and has nuggets of wisdom embedded in life's lessons told in an unusual style.

While I started as an organic chemist at UC Berkeley, I ended up finishing my molecular biology degree (genetic engineering) at UC Boulder, did my PhD in Molecular Virology at Baylor College of Medicine, then a post-doc at MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Invented vaccines, diagnostic tests, and even the caffeinated pixie stix! Enjoy the ride!
