Biography

Kenneth Kaplowitz was born in Newark,
New Jersey, in 1941, received his Bachelors
Degree in Art Education from Montclair
State College in 1963, his Masters Degree
in Communications from New York
University in 1968 and his Masters of
Fine Arts Degree in Sculpture and Studio
Art from Rutgers University in 1970.
His post Masters work in Creative Arts
Education took place at Rutgers and
Princeton University. He is a Professor
Emeritus in the School of Arts and
Communication at The College of New
Jersey where he taught communications,
media and fine art courses for forty-nine
years. Ken has been writing poetry for
the past twenty-two years. He presently
lives in Pennington and Lawrenceville,
New Jersey.
