Acerca del libro
(Revised Revised addition)
My life went through a drastic change on August 20, 1999. I lost my oldest son Gabriel in a tragic car accident. As I went through the process of grieving I became ill with severe bipolar depression. During that time I lost my Job, my home and started living in the streets. I tried counseling, tried different types of antidepressants and nothing seemed to help. I started using street drugs and hustling, I was heading in a downward spiral. In one of my hospital stays I started a journal. I went back to something I did as a teenager that helped me over the rough times. I started expressing my feelings inside through writing poetry. It has helped me get started on that road to recovery. Some of my poems are dark some are uplifting. It was like I was on a wild roller coaster ride with so many ups and downs. I hope by sharing my thoughts it my help someone with the same experiences realize there is hope. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

I love riding my Harley, traveling and backpacking! I Love to party, but I still have both feet on the ground. I am a Poet and Philosopher in my own mind. I write poems as a way of expressing the turmoil inside. It has been great relief valve for me. I am also an amateur photographer and hope to have a book ready soon.
