Acerca del libro electrónico
A chronological collection of lyrical poems inspired by the honorable and resilient women of the Cherokee Nation located in the Okono Lufty territory of the Great Smoky Mountains during the Trail of Tears in the late 1830s, which removed near all Cherokees from their home of 40,000 years to Oklahoma. The facts reflected in the poetry are based on the written work of Janice's great grandfather, Horace Kephart, considered by many the founder of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The album, to be released in spring 2018, is cinematic audio landscape of all original composition and real instruments and features world renowned Native American flutist Alexandro Querevalu. Janice Kephart regularly collaborates with Grammy winners and nominees in her spoken word work.
